Owls: A Tempera Paint and Collage Project
Facts from the class:
1. Owl's eyes are bigger than their brains.
2. Their eyes cannot move; they have to turn their heads to see around them.
3. Owls have 3 sets of eyelids.
4. They eat rats and mice, but cannot smell or taste anything.
5. Owls with yellow eyes hunt in the day time. Orange eyed owls hunt at night, and brown eyed owls at dawn and dusk.
6. They have four claws on each foot.
7. Their ears are little like plates on the front of their faces.
